He was a Class Monitor, Pupil Teacher, Head Teacher, Businessman, Head Master, British Empire Award Recipient, Music Teacher, Justice of The Peace, District Inspector & Acting Commissioner. In addition to all his accolades, N.G.M. Major has taught many students who have achieved many appointments of distinction throughout the Bahamas.
